PLB event catering is owned and run primarily by Paul Lawrence-Bark.
Paul began his journey with food in 1977 when he attended a two-year catering course at Brooklands college in Weybridge. He completed this with five city and guilds in a variety of catering subjects including baking, cake decoration and confectionary.
He has since built on his experiences beginning his career in a top London patisserie and moving on to running the catering department at Hampton court where he and his staff team prepared banquets for corporate events and meals for her majesty the queen’s staff team among other duties.
Paul has owned his own bakery and outside event catering business where he was the main caterer for the annual Hatfield house craft show which is globally the largest of its kind. In addition to this he was the sole caterer at several other events including the big green cardigan music festival and the Sparsholt countryside day.
Paul is currently working part time in a craft bakery, providing a number of dishes for a local gastro pub, baking specialist cakes for weddings and birthdays and running PLB catering.
